Amanda-and-Kyle---Blueflash-Photography-327Kyle and I met for the first time in the summer of 2008 on the beach in Narragansett, through a mutual friend. Immediately after meeting that day, Kyle told his friend “That is the girl I am going to marry one day.” Unfortunately, I was in a relationship at the time. Our romance would not bloom for another two years. We had our first date on April 17, 2010 at The Old Canteen in Providence. Our love story grew and we had a “Sky High” proposal, as the media referred to it. It took place on August 12, 2013, on top of the dome at the Rhode Island State House, overlooking the city. It was a feature in the news and a subsequent article in the Providence Journal. The location was chosen by Kyle. There was a long running joke between my father and siblings that the Independent Man at the top of the dome was my great grandfather, who at the time of his death was the oldest man in Rhode Island.Amanda-and-Kyle---Blueflash-Photography-447

After a two year engagement, we had our fairy tale wedding on September 12, 2015. I arrived at St Rocco’s Church in a 1947 Rolls Royce. We were greeted by Kings Brass, from New York, and their herald trumpets on the front steps of the church. At the conclusion of the mass, we traveled to Waterplace Park for photos, and a gondola ride in the canal. Unbeknownst to our guests,
our grand entrance was made on the fairway at Hillside Country Club, Rehoboth, by helicopter! We were greeted by Sinatra singer, Chris Jason, who serenaded us, and our guests. Kyle and I were then whisked off for our jaw-dropping room reveal. We were in complete awe of the way The Enchanted Florist had taken every little detail of our vision and put it to life. From the exquisite cocktail hour to the setting of our sweetheart table, adorned with a sea of hydrangea, orchids and crystal chandeliers, to the custom menu cards and flatware, it was an amazing fantasy to behold. No matter where your eyes took you, from the life sized floral bride in the foyer, to the floral arrangements in the Amanda-and-Kyle---Blueflash-Photography-595restrooms, the elegant ambiance was breathtaking. All created by The Enchanted Florist. The night was filled with many fun filled and magical surprises. Kyle and I were both very touched by an accordion serenade by my Uncle, in honor of my Papa, the late Robert Paolo, a renowned accordion player. After an amazing dinner, our guests were directed to the outdoor patio, for a grand firework display over the golf course. Upon our return to the ball room, we were
greeted by a strolling dessert table provided by Screaming Queens of NYC. There were so many magical moments and surprises throughout the evening. We danced the night away to the sounds
of Ambrosiani Band and DJ, and took pictures in the photo booth, provided by Blueflash Photography. Our love of food continued during and after party. Sliders, fries, milkshakes and more were provided by Hillside Country Club. I can’t think of one detail that was missed and I know this is just the beginning of Happily Ever After!
