How we met..
Saverio and I attended the same high school and he graduated the class ahead of me. Our older sisters, Andrea and Elena, had been friends before our paths ever crossed. Saverio was always
right beneath my nose, but it was not until his sister Elena tried to play match maker, that the love story took form. At Saverio and Elena’s joint birthday celebration in Providence, RI sparks flew. We have been together ever since his 25th birthday.
The day before my 26th birthday, Saverio and I set sail for Block Island. The day trip was planned to celebrate my birthday, but the day took a much deeper meaning when Saverio forever changed
my life by asking me to be his wife. Overlooking the ocean, with the beautiful setting all to ourselves, Saverio made me the happiest girl in the world!
Highlights of the day:
We had a Catholic wedding ceremony at Watch Hill Chapel, across from the Ocean House in Watch Hill, RI. It was a beautiful backdrop for our ceremony! We took pictures in Watch Hill and at
our beautiful venue, Quidnessett Country Club. At the reception, the dance floor was packed the entire time! Other guests enjoyed the cigar bar on the outside patio. I made a slideshow of childhood pictures, engagement pictures, and a tribute to Saverio’s late father Giuseppe Magliari. Also, in honor of Mr. Magliari we donated to the Multiple Myeloma Foundation in lieu of a traditional favor. The slideshow and donation made the guests very emotional. It was a night full of emotion, love, and happiness! We truly feel blessed.
